Turning the Page?

I can't believe it, but we're getting close to 200 issues of the Lukas Guides newsletter! This is an incredible milestone, so I thought it would be a great time to check in and see how things are going for everyone.

When I first started the newsletter, I had no idea where this endeavor would take me. More than three years later, I'm still having a blast and am nowhere close to running out of topics. Not only that, but the number of subscribers is steadily growing, folks are donating and upgrading to paid subscriptions, and my efforts are getting closer and closer to becoming sustainable.

I'm thankful for the newsletter and my amazing subscribers, but two things prompt me to do a quick survey. One concern is that a fair number of subscribers receive, but don't open, the newsletter, so I'm wondering if there's anything I need to change.

The other thing is that writing a weekly newsletter is basically a full-time job. I've promised to write a newsletter every week, and I take this seriously, but I miss having time to create videos or offer Zoom presentations on other topics that excite me. I often wonder about switching to writing a newsletter every other week and using this free time to create videos and presentations, but I'm worried that I'd be letting you down if I did that. Alternatively, rather than every other week, I could take an occasional break from the weekly newsletter to produce other content. Either way, I'd love your feedback on this question.

Finally, I am eternally grateful for everyone who has made a donation or upgraded to a paid subscription, and I'm always wondering how I can best express my gratitude. Please let me know if you'd like to see more perks or if there's anything else you'd like to see.
